This is a collaboration Post as Steve and Scott both visited Marble Fox together.
The Brewery scene continues to grow in Nashville. Marble Fox Brewing Company is the latest. A grand opening party is slated for this Saturday, August 26th. Offering a wide variety of craft beer. I stopped in a week ago and selected the Southern Blonde. It was fantastic. Located at 701 8th Avenue South. Marble Fox has plenty of room inside to hang out and enjoy. Pet friendly! Parking available in the surrounding area, along with other places to eat and drink.
Cheers!

This new brewery is located near the Gulch in the original Jackalope location at 701 8th Ave S in Nashville. They just had their Grand Opening on 8/25/23 but have been open since June. I’ve been lucky enough to go twice and enjoyed it both times. They have very good beer and several different styles. My 2 favorites so far are “Smile Lines” and “Quick Brown Fox – Coffee Nitro”. Their website currently shows 13 beers on draft and I’ve had 9 so far. Some of their styles include DIPA, Blonde, Lager, Pils and several other kinds of IPA’s.
This is a family-owned business that dates back to the 1800’s. They have a very cool story about their history on their website that you should check out: About – Marble Fox Brewing Company
John is the owner, and his son John is the head brewer. I’ve met them both and they are nice people and I’m sure they’d enjoy discussing their beer and story with you.
Their taproom has been renovated since it was Jackalope and it’s bright and clean and spacious. It definitely feels bigger in there than when it was Jackalope, I believe they said there was a wall that was taken out near the bar area that made the difference. Also, the last time I was there they had just poured an outside concrete slab for a patio that’s going to add even more space and it looks really nice. Look for upcoming events at the taproom.
They do have a few parking spots at their location, which are free for Marble Fox customers but if those are full, the streets behind it offered some free parking if you’re lucky enough to find it and there is a parking garage nearby that is the same parking garage used at Hi-Wire.
Speaking of which, this brewery is walking distance from the new Hi-Wire location and Peg Leg Porker. The last time we were at Hi-Wire we walked over to Marble Fox and Peg Leg. You can spend several hours in this area drinking and eating. There is also a taproom on the Gulch that is within walking distance called Hops & Crafts.
In summary, this brewery adds even more credibility to the Nashville beer scene. Although Nashville might not have the most breweries, we have several high-quality ones and they keep growing.
Do not sleep on Marble Fox, they are fantastic and you’ll be glad you visited them. Check out their website for more information about them at Marble Fox Brewing Company
