Hi everyone! Scott and I, along with some friends hit the road a little north of Nashville on Saturday. Big Trouble Brewing in Gallatin Big Trouble Brewing was the first on the brewery list. Really enjoyed the beer along with the 80’s theme throughout this place. (You need to go and check it out)
The second stop was Half Batch Brewing in Hendersonville, TN Half Batch Brewing – A full flavor craft brewery. Never half ass. A very large location and they do it right! Judging by the large crowd inside. Oh yeah, the beer was fantastic too!
The third venture was Yazoo Brewing in Madison, TN. Home | Yazoo Brewing Company They offer a very large selection of craft beer (including flights) and plenty of room for everyone!
If you live in Middle Tennessee and find yourself needing to get a little further out from busy downtown Nashville. I highly suggest you put these locations on your bucket list.
Cheers!

I’m piggybacking on Steve’s post since he did such a good job. This was a good trip with good people and something we will try and do at least once a year. We like to do these types of local trips where we can visit all of the breweries in an area in one day – Murfreesboro and Cookeville are other examples of those types of trips. We actually didn’t make it to Tailgate in Hendersonville on this trip, but we will for sure next time.
We started at Prince Street Pizza & Pub, which has fantastic pizza and had a very good beer selection. We even got to see an award-winning mullet.
Big Trouble Brewing Company was cool too, as it had an 80’s theme throughout including some 80’s video games, including Pong, that we played far too long. lol
I will say Half Batch Brewing Company was the highlight of the day since it was their Grand Opening, and they had a fantastic turnout. I was happy to see the support they received and they’re only going to get better once they are 100% operational.
Yazoo Brewing Company never disappoints and can always find new beer there, especially with their Pilot Series. Their taproom and campus are beautiful.
Cheers!
Scott
