Who We Are

Posted by

I’m Scott and I’m half of this dynamic duo. One of my top 3 things to do is to drink beer – more specifically – NEW beer, and I’m pretty good at it. I love to visit breweries and taprooms to try new beers, experience new places, hang out with friends and meet new people.

I live in Nashville, TN and have been here for 19 years. I’ve seen the craft beer market grow in this city by leaps and bounds during that time. Blackstone and Yazoo were the only breweries in Nashville at that time and we’ve come a long way since then.

I’ve known Steve for about 10 years and we connected right away on baseball and beer. (You should reach out to him and ask him how many beans he puts in his chili) We’ve been making an annual trip to Cincinnati for about the past 5 years to visit breweries, and we always incorporate at least one Reds game during our trip (usually more than one).

This site is something Steve and I always talked about starting, to share our brewery (and baseball) travels as well as to share our passion for beer by writing about it in various ways. We finally decided to pull the trigger and make it happen. I envy you who are lucky enough to see this site and absorb our vast and wonderful knowledge – you’re welcome.

We are going to have some fun with this site and we hope you enjoy it. I hope you’ll see the good parts of our personalities come through and maybe find some humor and sarcasm here. We are going to offer some cool and useful content and probably a little unusual as well. Please bear with us as the site grows. All are welcome.

Cheers!

Scott

Hey there I’m Steve! I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Go Reds! For the past 25 years I have lived in Nashville. Scott and I became friends years ago. We have the same thing in common as many of you. We love craft beer, sports, and of course laughing and having a good time.

Going to taprooms and breweries has become a fun hobby for me. The explosion of the craft beer industry is just tremendous. So why not talk about it?

Looking forward to discussing with Scott and many others, the latest and greatest in the growth of breweries not only in our backyard, but across the country. Plus, chances are, if you like a good beer, you’re probably a sports fan.

Stay tuned for our podcast where we talk about all this and so much more.

Thanks for stopping by!
